Q: Are FiberChoice fiber supplements Kosher or vegetarian?
A: FiberChoice tablets are not considered Kosher or vegetarian.
Q: Who can use FiberChoice tablets?
A: FiberChoice fiber supplements (regular orange, sugar-free orange medley and assorted fruit flavor chewable tablets and FiberChoice plus Calcium) are safe for adults and children age six and older. FiberChoice Weight Management fiber supplement can be used by adults 18 or older. Pregnant women should consult their physician before using any FiberChoice® fiber supplement product.
Q: Do I have to take FiberChoice fiber supplements every day?

Q: How do I take FiberChoice fiber supplements?

Q: Will I experience any discomfort when I start taking FiberChoice fiber supplements?
A: Increasing fiber intake or changing your fiber source can produce temporary minor intestinal discomfort (gas or bloating). If discomfort occurs, reduce the dose you’re taking and slowly increase use over a period of several weeks to the recommended amount.
Q: Do FiberChoice products interfere with vitamin and/or mineral absorption?
A: There is no evidence that shows that Inulin(the fiber in FiberChocie) inhibits vitamin and or mineral absorption. Inulin has recently been shown to help increase the absorption of calcium.*† Additional questions or concerns should be directed to your physician.
Q: Can I use FiberChoice fiber supplements if I am a diabetic?
A: FiberChoice fiber supplements are available in a variety of sugar-free flavors. If you have additional questions, we recommend you discuss the use of FiberChoice products with your physician.
Q: What makes FiberChoice chewable tablets different?
A: FiberChoice chewable tablets are safe to take without water, unlike bulk fiber products that require extra water to avoid possible choking hazards. And, you can take them anytime, anywhere.
Q: Why don’t I have to drink water when I take FiberChoice products?
A: The inulin in FiberChoice fiber supplement is a different type of fiber that doesn’t require you to drink extra water.
Q: Why is sugar (dextrose) added to the sugar - free tablets?
A: A small amount of dextrose is included in sugar-free FiberChoice fiber supplement as a flavor enhancer.
Q: I am not experiencing irregularity. Do I still need FiberChoice?

Q: Do FiberChoice products interfere with calcium absorption?
A:Some studies suggest whole grain products may interfere with mineral absorption and that's why doctors suggest taking your fiber supplement at a different time of day than your vitamin supplements. Inulin, the fiber source in FiberChoice products, has been shown to enhance calcium absorption. Studies have shown that 8 grams per day of inulin increases calcium absorption.*†

FiberChoice plus Antioxidants

Q: What are antioxidants and why are they important?
A: Antioxidants reduce the effect of dangerous oxidants, called free radicals, by binding together with these harmful molecules, decreasing their destructive power. Antioxidants can also help repair damage already sustained by cells. Antioxidant agents are found in foods, including dark green leafy vegetables, fruits and vegetables are high in nutrients such as vitamin C, vitamin E, and beta-carotene, all of which have antioxidant activity and are believed to be beneficial for health.
Q: What are free radicals?
A: Free radicals are unstable molecules that form in the body through metabolism and upon exposure to environmental agents in air, food or water. When too many free radicals build up in the body, they can attack healthy cells and may contribute to the aging process.
Q: What does Vitamin C do?
A: Vitamin C is an important antioxidant and is essential for growth and healing of tissues.
